REPTILE

REPTILE was created by Dave in his spare time over the course of several years. It started with his frustration with slow and bloated FEM post-processing software. After dabbling with Perl scripts to process NASTRAN text output files, Dave needed something faster, more reliable, and more stable. And that's how the idea for REPTILE was hatched.

REPTILE was forged in battle against the internal loads models of numerous aircraft development programs. Many features and capabilities were added to REPTILE during this time, but it stayed mostly on the fringes-- lurking in the shadows-- gathering its strength. Eventually, REPTILE's powers grew until it had become far too useful, and the time had come to set it free upon the world.
